Who We Are

We are a crisis centre located in Surrey, and work in collaboration with the medical and justice communities for the safety and care of survivors and children escaping violence.

Why We Exist

Our goal is to see gender-based violence diminish and one day disappear from our cultural lexicon. We empower survivors, and with your help we are changing the definition of ‘victim’.

What We Do

We protect survivors. We are often the first place they call for help—24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year—be it emergency assistance or ongoing support. Comprehensive care and resources are available from the moment of assault and beyond, with medical, legal, and emotional assistance at every  stage of recovery and healing.

  • Counselling Services: We provide counselling services for anyone who has experienced abuse and needs support.
  • Access to Justice: We help survivors navigate the justice system.
  • Community Outreach:  Our SMART Van program connects with survivors in the community to provide critical services.
  • Health & Wellness: Our services are holistic. We ensure that survivors are cared for and empowered to pursue healing and happiness.
