Surrey Women’s Centre is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the prevention of gender-based violence and supporting survivors by providing direct services and programs in Surrey. Being a non-profit community based organization we rely on the generosity of our donor community to support most of our programs.

Where your support goes

Your donations help us provide critical life saving programs to survivors of gender-based violence.  In 2020, donor support enabled us to provide our services to over 13,943 individuals.

In 2024, 187 women and girls were killed by violence (Canadian Femicide Observatory for Justice and Accountability). In Canada, 59% of transgender and gender-diverse people experience violent victimization (Statistics Canada, 2020).
